Davida Bortmes, Attorney at Law, has been a dedicated and skilled attorney practicing in the State of Maryland since 2005. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. With a strong academic background and a passion for constitutional law, Davida brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.
Davida earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University Law School in May 2004. During her time there, she served as Associate Editor for the Digest from 2002 to 2003, published constitutional law articles in the 2003-2004 issue of the Digest Law Journal, and was the Supreme Court Survey Editor from 2003 to 2004. She also holds a Master’s degree in U.S. Political History from the Maxwell School of Citizenship at Syracuse University, where she received both a graduate scholarship and fellowship.
In addition, Davida obtained her Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in May 2001. During her undergraduate studies, she was the Editor in Chief of Drumtalk and received honors including Phi Alpha Theta, Pi Sigma Alpha, and Omicron Delta Kappa.
Davida is an active member of the Maryland Bar Association.
